TinkerMap is a free, independent project built and maintained by one person. By using it you agree to these plain-language terms.
The service
TinkerMap lets you place a pin on a public map, tag your skills, and discover other builders nearby. It is provided free of charge, with no paid tier and no ads.
Your account
You sign in with GitHub. You're responsible for what you add to your profile and for keeping your GitHub account secure. You can hide your pin or ask for full deletion at any time (see the Privacy Policy).
Your content
Everything you add — name, bio, skills, links, pin — stays yours. You give TinkerMap a non-exclusive license to display it on the app, which ends when you remove it.
Fair use
Don't spam pins, impersonate others, harass builders, scrape the map at scale, or use TinkerMap for anything illegal. Accounts doing any of that may be removed.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is". Pins reflect what users claim about their location — verify before meeting anyone. To the extent allowed by law, the maker isn't liable for issues arising from use of the app.
